Marina selected the following books of note for the TLS:

Ariella Aïsha Azoulay’s The Jewelers of the Ummah: A potential history of the Jewish Muslim world (Verso) makes an inspired, urgent and poetic plea to remember that Arabs and Jews once coexisted in Algeria and the Middle East. Ithell Colquhoun: Between Worlds, edited by Katy Norris (Tate), includes finely researched essays by Alyce Mahon et al. Finally, a delight for bookworms: Janelle Rebel’s Bibliographic Performances and Surrogate Readings (Everyday Press) inventories ways of arranging book lists, both lucid and ludic
