This catalogue accompanies the exhibition The Shelter of Stories, on show at Compton Verney 25 October 2025 – 22 February 2026.

It is available to buy on the Compton Verney webshop and at the gallery’s gift shop. The catalogue features essays, poems and contributions from David Herd, Abdelfattah Kilito, Emily LaBarge, Roger Malbert, Denise Riley and A. E. Stallings. Along with curator Oli McCall, Marina introduces the book, which contains images of many of the works on display.
