Marina joined the 154th episode of the podcast BULAQ to discuss what has (and hasn’t) changed in the last twenty years in Arabic literature, publishing and translation. The episode is made to mark 20 years of the Sheikh Zayed Book Award, which Marina received in 2013 for her book Stranger Magic. It is available to listen to on Apple Podcasts, here.

Marina’s reflections on being given the award and on the last two decades are also available to read on ArabLit’s website, here.
